The 2024 PGA of America Show

The 2024 PGA of America Show

Every year the biggest event in the golf industry - The PGA of America Show - is hosted in Orlando, Florida.  With only a few months under our belts as a golf apparel company, we decided it was time to attend and check out the scene.  So off to Florida we went.

You can't go somewhere like Florida and not bring your clubs, so we arrived a few days early to get in a few rounds.  First order of business was Shingle Creek Golf Club.  It was a fun design to play but the conditions could have been better for the price of the green fees.

The club resort is massive.

The next day was the PGA Show's big demo day at Orange County National.  The facility is absolutely huge with 36 holes and the largest practice / driving range area you'll ever see.  Spent a little time checking out some new equipment but then it was time to play the Panther Course, which has hosted an array of events over the years, including PGA Q School and more recently a LIV event.

The course conditions were fantastic and the layout made for an extremely fun round of golf, with a lot of different shots required.  I'll definitely play it again.

When playing a course with orange in the name, it was a no-brainer to wear our Creamsicle Stripe polo.

The next 2 days it was time to hit up the show exhibit floor.  I've been to a lot of conventions over the years and this one stands out as being absolutely huge.

Plenty of apparel and gear brands were on display, of course, but also a lot of quirky new inventions and other random stuff you might not expect.  There was even a ~150 yard fully netted driving range so those who missed the demo day could have the opportunity to check out the latest and greatest equipment.  Here are some photos to share the overall vibe.  Will Swirlo have a booth at the exhibit next year?  I'd say there's a good chance.
